3. Cashmere exports
Compared with other countries and regions, my country's cashmere industry has advantages in raw materials, geography, human capital and policies, making my country not only the largest producer of cashmere, but also the largest exporter of cashmere products, with an absolute monopoly in the international market. In recent years, as the world's cashmere production center has shifted to my country, it has become the world's largest cashmere demand market.
The demand for cashmere is generally divided into two parts, one is domestic sales and the other is export. In terms of exports, my country's cashmere exports in 2018 were 3,212 tons, with an export value of 237.94 million U.S. dollars. In 2019, affected by trade frictions, exports fell to 2,940 tons.
