Best Long-staple cashmere
Normally Cashmere is woollen spun as 99% of Cashmere is short staple, this does not make a strong or stable yarn and will be prone to excess pilling. Thus we have focused in developing worsted long-staple yarn to overcome this.
There are two main rules in cashmere: "The longer the fiber, the stronger the yarn" and "The thinner the fiber, the softer the yarn." With this in mind, EWSCA sources the best extra-long staple cashmere fibers—37mm in length—and some of the thinnest fibers—a maximum of 15.9 microns in width. The result is cashmere renowned for its durability and anti-pilling performance that retains the incredibly soft feel the material is known for.
